Hunting North Texas
The life and times of Edward Leedskalnin have been an interest of mine for 11 years. He was the creator of Coral Castle in Homestead, Florida is a megalithic structure 1,100 tons of coral, a structure whose secrets have never been explained.
Ed was also for his research on magnetism in brochures about the magnetic currents shown announced his theories and his perpetual motion or perpetual energy device discussed.
It is generally accepted that Edward Leedskalnin, the wish to be named Ed, was born in 1887 in the country of Latvia. At the age of 26, Ed was engaged to the girl of his dreams, Agnes slippers, the 16 years old was to marry.
The day before the wedding, she said, Ed, that they do not want to marry him for one of many reasons. It was said that he was too old too poor, or perhaps not enough education (Ed was said to have only a fourth grade education had).
Because of his dreams shattered by his being "Sweet Sixteen ", Ed left Latvia, traveled to Canada and then down into California and Texas. During this time, Ed said, have worked in the timber industry and was part of at least one cattle drive in Texas.
These jobs were said to him, have the force necessary to move huge blocks of coral, which he later in the Production of the Coral Castle.During would use his travels, Ed developed a case of tuberculosis. He then traveled from Texas to Florida in search of a better climate for him to help with his newly developed disease.
Ed came to Florida and began building the Coral Castle on land which he bought for $ 12. After curing even from tuberculosis, Ed spent the next 20 to 30 years building this monument of corals in devotion to his "Sweet Sixteen".
At some point decided Ed in the Coral Castle Homestead, Florida moving, about 10 miles north of Florida City to its location, and named it "Rock Gate Park" after the 9-ton gate after he Moving to this new location installed.
Ed his living by tours of the Coral Castle and published several papers on astronomical and electromagnetic information created and what seems a perpetual energy device before his death. Ed died at the age of 64 from stomach cancer in December 1951 in Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Unfortunately, it seems that all the secrets, Ed had, including his ability to carve, and move megalithic stones, and the secrets His eternal power unit died with him over 50 years. But because the Coral Castle, and his writings, the mystery of Edward Leedskalnin lives.
